The House That Jack Built by Aretha Franklin

Label: Atlantic 2546
Year: 1968
Condition: M-
Last Price: $20.00. Not currently available for sale.

Here's a great Aretha hit you don't hear very often (or see on vinyl very often, for that matter). But one listen will explain why Dave Marsh included it in his list of the 1,001 greatest 45s. As a double thrill, you also get her dynamite cover of the Dionne Warwick hit from the year before on the flip. Aretha's version actually was a bigger hit on the Black chart (#3) than Dionne's was (#6). By the way, the A side is a non-album tune, while the flip is specially edited from a 3:30 album track. Note: This copy comes in a vintage Atlantic Records factory sleeve. The labels have a faint touch of ringwear, while the vinyl looks untouched. The audio sounds pristine Mint.
