OPENS THE SHOW - Memphis musicians this evening...First Chad Nordhoff joins us to discuss his new album "Good Work, If You Can Get It". I met Chad a few months ago when visiting Beale Street with Tim. We followed the sound of delta blues guitar and then watched as Chad played, non-stop, for the next three hours. The album was recorded at legendary Sun Studios here in Memphis and is a great representation of the sounds you will hear if listening to Chad live. With a new addition to his family alongside a new release, we will discuss the stirrings in his life. SEGMENT BEGINS AT THE 50:00 MARK - Then we welcome Eric Hughes to The Couch. A native Memphian, Eric is lead vocalist, harp and guitar player for his band. He is also the Founder of The Memphis Blues Society; begun in 2005 to help preserve the sounds of the blues. I hope to find out more of how this ex-Marine got hooked by the blues.
