OPENS THE SHOW - DanikaHolmes was scheduled, but was unable to atend, so we talked about the business of some performers whose "concerts" are more circus acts than anything else.. SEGMENT BEGINS AT THE 40:30 MARK - Hot Buttered Rum - evolution is what has brought this band to their current place after 7 years of almost constant touring and adaption. Beginning with their bluegrass roots on their first album to their latest LIMBS AKIMBO, showing off a harder rock edge while continuing to keep their 'high-altitude' bluegrass roots. The band is on constant rotation on XM's Grateful Dead channel where their covers of the Dead's music shows off their talents. This is a booking I have been working on and am very excited to have the band come on and talk about their lives and dreams.
