Rammed with #NewMusic, this week's show was, as usual, an eclectic mix of original, intelligent, melodic, grown-up songs - electronic, rnb, jazz, blues and acoustic. And mostly from artists who you have not heard of - yet! Think 'next series of Jools' - that's the kind of artists that we choose.
We had #NewMusic from Henry Green, Henrik Freischlader, CYBER, The Boxer Rebellion, Raveena, Engine-Earz + Ane Brun, Anders Enda Barnet + Maia Hirasawa, Charlotte Someone, GOSTO, Kubata, Alfred Gómez Jr., Sumie, Alessi's Ark and many others.
In our Luvva Cover feature, we paid tribute to Malcolm Young of AC/DC who sadly died three days previously. Recognised as a brilliant guitarist, many of the riffs that the band are known for were invented by him. Including Back to Black - and our Luvva Cover was a brilliant reinterpretation of that song.
Music that you just don't hear anywhere else!
