Is Everything That Happens the Will of God?
Some people live under the false assumption that everything is the will of God. This can lead to some pretty horrible claims, like when Jerry Falwell said that 9/11 occurred because of pagans, abortionists, feminists, "the gays and the lesbians" and the ACLU. And it's not just the extreme examples that create confusion, but also when well-meaning people say, "It must be the will of God," in response to tragedy. What do we do with such claims?
