Neal Morse has been one of my favorite musicians since the late 90s. Though Neal’s name is well known in the progressive music sphere (as the former lead singer of Spock’s Beard, 1/4 of prog rock supergroup Transatlantic, and the leader of the Neal Morse Band), some may not know he began his career as a singer/songwriter. His latest album, Life & Times, is  a collection of more folk-oriented music in the singer/songwriter style. I had Neal on the show to talk about his family history with singer/songwriter music, his experience as a singer/songwriter in Los Angeles, and some of the background and inspiration for Life & Times. Click here for tour dates, and click here to pre-order Life & Times.
