JNT

An eclectic mix of Minimal / Tech House and Techno, from 120 bpm to 130 bpm... I started out as a bedroom DJ and continue to build on that. I aspire to one day mix in a club, for a fashion show (love the ambience of that), create a movie soundtrack and produce my own music. I have dance music knowledge of some 20 years’ and I love all genres of house music. I find myself in the Tech House category but can hop from Techno to Tech House to Minimal. With each mix that I create I am often inspired by a theme, a piece of art, a photograph, a moment, an emotion and like in the Fractals mixes I based the theory of the mix on Fractals which are complex patterns that are similar across different scales and I tried to implement that in the sounds and choice of tracks. I love the creativity part of selecting the tracks and constructing a mix. On the other hand, the mixes can be full of the songs that move me from a club night, I have visited all the best clubs in the world and take a lot of inspiration from those memories including Trade and DTPM which were two of the best clubs of the 90’s and 00’s. I am also interested in transforming the music mixes I create into visual art like videos...
