Mysteries of the Deep is a New York-based record label, podcast, and event series — focused on ambient & experimental music in various forms. Mysteries — as fans lovingly call it — is concerned with exploration of unknown realms, and its focus, in addition to showcasing a dynamic spectrum of electronic music from foremost artists in the field, is to thoughtfully engage its audience. Conceptualized in 2011, Mysteries began as a podcast series that, now in its eleventh year, has hosted an array of mixes and original works. The project has since evolved, expanding into a curated global event series and record label.

Divina Mundi: Tales of a dream and an acoustic reconstruction When I enter the forbidden world, I'm frozen. I don't move, I look around. Everything seems strange to me and everything is completely different from what I am used to. I have no idea what's happening to me right now and I feel scared. This place is bursting with life and the creatures don't look like normal animals, but are much more airy and abstract. Every time I try to look at them, they disappear again, which makes it difficult to make an accurate observation. They make noises, which sound very harmonious and oscillating and have a mystical effect. The atmosphere in this place is completely filled with these benevolent sounds without being perceived as disturbing. I realize that this world is and has always been in perfect balance. In this pre- or post-human reality there is nothing that can disturb this tender and sensitive harmony. This thought is disturbing, because I know that a wrong action on my part would disturb this balance and endanger this utopian system. So I stay calm and observe everything without moving. Every object in this world is in motion and everything seems to revolve around a center point, which is too abstract to be recognized by me as such. Entropy is not present in this world.
