"Believing the strangest things...Loving the Alien"

David Bowie passed away on 10th of January, 2016. How do you begin to pay tribute to an artist such as David Bowie? The man was a living legend, and thanks to his amazing body of work he will be forever immortalized.

I first experienced David Bowie back in 1979 / 1980 with his tracks Boys Keep Swinging and Ashes To Ashes, so I kind of feel like a latecomer. But it doesn't matter. We all discover artists at different stages in their careers.

In addition to his original songs I'll also be playing a few cover versions back to back by artists such as The Human League, Dead Or Alive, British Electric Foundation and of course THAT totally amazing cover of Life On Mars by Elsa Mars from American Horror Story : Freak Show. So please join me on this totally self indulgent tour of some of my favourite David Bowie tunes. I won't mention the incredible contribution he made to music, art, acting, performance and the countless bands and performers he inspired. There are people out there far better qualified than me to comment on such things.

All that matters for now is that we remember this amazing human being for what is was and is - a brilliantly talented performer who leaves behind a body of work that will forever inspire us. RIP David Bowie.
