The Host Country's Diana Weisharr and Ty Wistrand have been writing and performing their brand of indie-blues-folk all over Iowa for the better part of a decade. They started off humbly as duo for many years until expanding into a full band upon the release of their 2014 album "Walk Away". They have all but shed the stripped down folk sensibilities in favor of the bigger full band sound and dynamics which has freed them creatively, not feeling constrained to any genre.
