The Noodle Hotpot

So as promised it's time for part two of my tribute to the powerhouse production duo that is Masters at Work. It's another 3 hour special and this time I decided to focus on the solo material and collaborations of Kenny 'Dope' Gonzalez and 'Little' Louie Vega. It goes without saying that 3 hours is of course no where near long enough to cover their humungous stellar back catalogue of work but what you do have here is just a selection of some of my favourite records I've collected over the years. We go from Kenny's hip hop and funk flavours via his brilliant Kay-Dee imprint to the many disco edits he's worked his magic over and then into the more classic New York house material Louie recorded on Strictly Rhythm as well as the many remixes they've both been involved with. We end up with a sprinkling of the South American flavours of which I'd of loved to play more of but alas time was the enemy and I ran out!
