Plundersonics Podcast

Nolan & Winter started the Plundersonics Podcast in June of 2015 as a way to broaden their musical horizons and, hopefully, help others do the same! Every week, we get together and assign one another an album that we think would be interesting to discuss. The following week, we get together and share our thoughts on the albums and talk some music news, new releases and singles!

Plundersonics Podcast Ep. 11

This week, Nolan and Winter are joined by our friend Ben (who we met at the Death Grips show) to talk about the proto-punk album Marquee Moon by Television and the folk punk album Knife Man by Andrew Jackson Jihad. We then cover a bit of music news and quite a few interesting singles, including new tracks from Oneohtrix Point Never and Battles. Next week, tune in as Winter and Nolan discuss the black metal album The Mantle by Agalloch, the psychedelic rock bootleg Heavier Than a Death in the Family by Les Rallizes Dénudés and the post-punk ep The Early Years by Girl Band! The singles we'd like to recommend this week are Something Soon by Car Seat Headrest (lo-fi indie pop): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WjnEkJa2Law Pears for Lunch by Girl Band (post-punk/dance punk): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zgi3ZvolkRQ I Bite Through It by Oneohtrix Point Never (progressive electronic/glitch): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jt5tRaV3iY0
