As a powerlifter, he has won 18 World Championships and 33 National Championships and set 38 world records. He was a semi-finalist for the 2013 Sullivan Award given to the nation’s outstanding amateur athlete and is a member of the AAU Strength Sports Hall of Fame. A New York attorney, he supervised the drug testing at the 2016 Rio Olympics and helped to manage the wrestling venue at the 2012 London Olympics.
