After the violent terrorist attacks in Paris on Friday evening, we visit the French Embassy in Berlin to experience the outpouring of sympathy and grief. We're joined by our correspondents Helena Humphrey, who lived in the 11th arrondissement of Paris where several attacks took place, and Janelle Dumalaon who has been following the German reaction for This Week in Germany. We also take time to remember former chancellor Helmut Schmidt, who died this week aged 96. He was an outspoken leader who wasn't afraid to offend but who showed courage and cunning during periods of crisis.
