AZEMCast is THE competitive emergency medicine podcast. The host, Dr. Aaron Leetch, moderates a panel of emergency physicians who will go head to head navigating a clinical case from the Ring Down to the Work Up to the Dispo. Panelists are awarded points for their approach to the case and their clinical application of evidence-based medicine. However, points are deducted for weak arguments or reliance on experience-based medicine. Believe it or not, but September is supposed to be the start of fall and it’s pushing 100 degrees here in Tucson. This month’s AZEMCast is equally hot as we discuss a weak and dizzy patient harboring badness, the use of steroids in low back pain and the philosophy of risk in the ED.
