2018 has been a year of reflection for me after completing 50 years as a DJ. It has been a year when we have lost some important people from our lives. And although sometimes you realise how difficult life can become for people with illness and disease it is always a jolt when they lose their battle. I personally turn to my faith my family and my friends and I as I started to put together this dedication the music that carried such a powerful message had to be the subject matter . Gospel music has played a major role in my life in all its forms and I made this show as a personal dedication to Dean Johnson who recently lost his personal battle these songs brought back many memories of conversations I had with him and the passion which we both had for our beloved music. Dean Johnson left his mark with his wit and humour with his written word and with his zest for life and his willingness to share his passion.
