YAMANAKA MIXES A FUNKY, SPACED-OUT HOMAGE TO ELECTRO DUO MICROTHOL

This month we’re pleased to bring you a first in the series - a mix of tracks and remixes exclusively from a single artist, Austrian tag team Microthol, stitched together by Seattle selector Yamanaka. A party-friendly adventure, the selections traverse the duo’s discography from retro-futuristic cosmic disco tracks like Midnight Moroder to harder-hitting, acid-heavy tracks, to myriad variations on electro that Microthol are best known for.

A native of Japan, in the couple of years since (Raymond) Yamanaka has been dj’ing in Seattle with the Depth crew, he’s cut his teeth sharing bills with notable acts such as Ben Sims, Vril, Raiz and Kevin Saunderson.
