Proverbs 19:17 says that whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will repay him for his deed. This verse reflects what Auntie Na does on a daily basis. She was raised by her grandparents who began the community outreach by serving community meals, taking in kids after school serving as a safehaven in the neighborhood. Over the years, she and her family have raised dozens of children. Youth are nurtured and supported with after-school snacks, food, clothing, educational and creative activities, school supplies, and toys. Hot meals are served to the hungry and homeless and the garden and pantry provides nutritious food for families in need. The house also serves as a safe space for women and children looking to leave dangerous situations.
