Future Fossils...the recovered and upcoming podcast relics.

Enoch Raavi is a St. Louis-born arts enthusiast, professional DJ, self-published recording artist (Enoch Raavi and the Indigenous Groove) and bassist. Enoch studied radio production in the mid 1990’s and became an announcer on the Webster University-based radio station KSLH Jazz 91.5 in St. Louis. As early as 2003, Enoch has traversed throughout several iterations of  ’podcasts’. Long before the advent of Apple’s iPod, he began webcasting with a station on Live 365, which was inevitably followed by syndicated episodes on Podomatic. In order, the original shows were entitled… “Eklektika”,”Soul Safari”, “Knocturnal Sunshine”, and the last of which was “Global Warmth”, which had a corresponding listening party event featuring live musical acts, African drumming and deejaying, and was housed at several brick & mortar locations. You can find a few of these archived here, and in response to popular demand, do expect new material and shows in the Spring of 2022. Exact dates will be published soon, so for now please enjoy these older episodes, which never get old, and stay tuned for the future installments!

Magician Position

There is a force in the world, unseen but not undetected. It has been observed by scientists, written of by scribes, invoked by mystics, and transduced by artists. It moves some, and is immovable to others. All is an extension of it,as all was and is it simultaneously. You know it when you feel it,and even when you pretend not to. It's in this mix,and in your hearts, and as you allow it to slide into your earholes...embrace it. This experiment in non-genre centric eccentricity is laden with gems from the likes of Robert Glasper, Reel People,Jose James, Mos (diggity Def,and Bahamadia, as well as one of my new favorite acts...Moonchild. It's more than music, it's magnanimous, it's magic. Namaste.
