They make up over half of our population but yet don't come close to that when it comes to representation in the media. Everyone in the world is related to one and knows them but for some reason, they are rarely written well. As unbelievable as that may sound, we're talking about female characters in pop culture.
It's hard to find good female representation in the media but it is getting better. This week we discuss what it takes to write a woman well and who are some of our favorites.
