In celebration of Halloween, this episode of Sonic Encounters features the song “Primeval” from my horror soundscapes album NO GHOSTS. JUST FEAR. It’s a very short and creepy piece where I use hand crafted synthetic sounds (subtractive and additive synthesis) to create strange tones, textures. and rhythms to build tension. Fast note-runs, and radical tempo changes will creep you out.
