German producer Kevin Over has consistently impressed with his output over the years, with recent times seeing him plough a furrow of deep, pumping, woozy house music. Decked out with choice samples, raw textures, rough edges and low-slung funk, it's the sound of someone with mastery over their equipment. From hazy house through to the recent 2-step garage adventure of his new 'Lavender' on Kerri Chandler's Madhouse Records imprint, this is a delectable journey through his brain.

  *How would you describe your sound?*   House music with a jacking attitude and mad sampling crime.   *What and who inspires you and influences your sound?*    The '90s and early 2000s house music sound from Detroit, warm distortion and neo soul vibes.   *Can you tell us a little about this mix and what it means to you?*   I never felt such a time travel while mixing my own works from the past years together. It's defo like skipping through your own diary and so its special for sure.
