I met another “enfant terrible” Pascal Finette at the ADC in Hamburg where we talked about those shifts in technology that at first gradually and then suddenly move the earth. Pascal focuses on the intersection of technology, global impact and culture. He is Co-Founder at radical and Singularity University’s Chair for Entrepreneurship & Open Innovation. Previously he held leadership positions at Google.org, Mozilla, eBay, built technology startups and launched a Venture Capital firm. So it was most natural that we discussed vividly the changes that need to disrupt society to welcome new technologies. “I think a lot of the tension comes from the fact that we're living in a society which was not built for this age and we need to really rapidly upgrade our societies.
