Spurred by her personal realization about America's "messed-up" treatment of motherhood, Amy Westervelt, journalist and the author of Forget "Having It All": How America Messed Up Motherhood —and How to Fix It (Seal Press, 2018), asks, "How did we get here?" and what it would take it fix it.
