Listeners call in to talk about where they moved in 2018, and why.

I moved to Hudson Yards in 2018. I'd been hopping all over the city from apartment to apartment I couldn't afford since '03, and last year, while contemplating leaving NYC, my number came up on a waitlist I didn't even know I was on and now I'm in AFFORDABLE ARTIST'S HOUSING!

Couldn't get in on the line; In 2018 I moved from NYC to Montana. I figured rent prices would be lower (and they are—I've found full houses for $500 a month!) but because average salaries are so much lower, there is a often perception of a housing crisis
