Our Newest version of the Podcast jam packed full of tracks and beats for your ears!! Guest mix is by EVIL SMARTY!! Guildford based Dj and producer Evil Smarty started out playing the tougher sounds of House and Techno. It wasn’t until he began a residency in London playing all night that he took the chance to broaden the music he played and delve deeper into the world of disco. Having used Ableton in Techno productions, he was well aware that it could be used to edit tracks to fit within his sets giving him the freedom to cultivate his own sound. Around this time one of his early edits, “Prince - Sign Of The Times”, was getting plays from Greg Wilson and the Edit scene was gaining in popularity. It wasn't too long before his first release "All This Love" on the Get Down Edits “Family Ep” went to number 1 on Juno and became the top selling track on the album along with becoming his first vinyl release. He has continued to build upon his success, with a string of top ten solo releases, alongside his productions with DJ partner and friend Bad Barbie. This momentum carries him into 2016 with forthcoming releases coming soon on Midnight Riot and Masterworks Music alongside his regular live performances at various venues throughout the UK. Usually Chill host one event in the UK around May/June and one Event in Bulgaria in August each year. This year the Chill Team is proud to announce the dates for our 5 Star Event “Chill Weekender Bulgaria” running 20th -27th August 2016.
