Actual Play Network - Live Play RPG Podcast (ActualPlay.Network)

The ActualPlay.Network takes a regular cast of performers through a variety of role playing systems, creating dramatic, compelling, funny, and interesting stories along the way. We play story games like FATE, traditional games like Dungeons and Dragons, horror games like Call of Cthulhu, Delta Green, and Vampire. We are also focusing on old school role-playing style games like Stars without Number and Lamentations of the Flame Princess. We also include video playthroughs of video games (Dark Corners of the Earth) and loads of supplementary material like game master notes and advice, music, and art.

Episode 016 – Goblin Quest

Squirrels, goblins, and getting railed by a truck.
This episode, Andrew, Chris and I play Goblin Quest. Although this is meant to be a GM less game, I decided at the time, mainly out of exhaustion, to play a pseudo game master role. We sort of built the plane as we played it with this game, so please bear that in mind.
I think that it (Goblin Quest) is a great one session game, especially if, like in this case, you can’t get the whole gang together.
Andrew did the character art for this episode and I think it came out great.
Gino generally does character art and title card illustrations. If you dig his art, he also has a long running webcomic up at pizzapranks.com and a Patreon for his art.
I know I mention this every episode but I am still working on our Lamentations of the Flame Princess series. We had a hard drive fail but are working on getting it back up. So I’m not exactly sure what our next episode will be but you should expect it in approximately a week or two
