Wait, What?

Ostensibly about comic books and graphic novels, "Wait, What?" is a podcast in which two friends swap stories, theories, and jokes about all aspects of pop culture...but especially comics. For our early episodes, our theme music is Track 18 from Nine Inch Nails' wonderful ambient album Ghosts, which Trent Reznor graciously made available under a Creative Commons BY-NC-SA license. But for some time now, it has been an original composition by our very own Graeme McMillan: this update is overdue!

Wait, What? Episode 80

Welcome to the done-in-one Eightieth Episode of Wait, What? We don't mean to come off as wishy-washy, but we felt there were a lot of good points as to why we should stick to oners when it comes to the podcast, so, at least for a while, that's what we're going to stick to, but feel free to leave comments at SavageCritic.com or at waitwhatpodcast@gmail.com, But so, yes. A two hour and twenty-plus minute done in one, with Graeme McMillan and Jeff Lester spending the first forty minutes or so kicking the can about the reception to the John Carter movie, the lack of interesting Wondercon news, shelling pistachios, costume design, and conspiracy theories about bad movies. Then, realizing we are not going to be breaking the episode in twain, we really get underway with discussions about The Wasteland Omnibus, reading The Flash and writing for the trades, Justice League #7 and the Shazam! back-up, Secret Avengers: The Children's Crusade, Avengers X-Sanction #4, Wolverine #303, Dominique LeVeau Voodoo Queen, Wonder Woman #7, Astonishing X-Men and Wolverine and The X-Men, and a heckuva lot more. We hope you enjoy and, as always, thank for listening!
