Wait, What?

Ostensibly about comic books and graphic novels, "Wait, What?" is a podcast in which two friends swap stories, theories, and jokes about all aspects of pop culture...but especially comics. For our early episodes, our theme music is Track 18 from Nine Inch Nails' wonderful ambient album Ghosts, which Trent Reznor graciously made available under a Creative Commons BY-NC-SA license. But for some time now, it has been an original composition by our very own Graeme McMillan: this update is overdue!

Wait, What? Episode 76

Graeme McMillan and Jeff Lester are coming at you with both barrels blazing--and by "both" we mean "more than two" and by "barrels," we mean "hours of answering your questions from a few weeks back." Yes, it only takes us two hours and forty minutes to answer (almost) everyone's questions--we actually talk so long Graeme turns into cosmic buzzing seafoam at the very end--but answer them we do, scheduling and artistic teams on DC, new 52 titles and teams we would like to see, The New 52: Threat of Menace?, Marvel movies and costumes in superhero movies, alternative sexual relationships in comics, 2000 AD and Shonen Jump Alpha, our favorite books of the 80s, a moment in Defenders #3 Jeff totally blew past, J.M. DeMatteis' The Defenders, The Shadow, The Red Circle, Milestone and other comics lines, X-Men franchises vs. Teen Titans, speculation over the changes in the Marvel dancecard, real world landmarks in imaginary world, our favorite Superman, Dr. Who, John Byrne's Fantastic Four, Rick Jones, Downton Abbey comics, the Shooterverse, and, as you're probably used to by now, much, much more. As always, we hope you enjoy and thanks for listening!
