There is a popular book going around the past few years called “The Prayer of Jabez.” Some people look at this prayer as a “get rich quick” prayer. Anything that encourages people to pray to the God of the Bible is probably a good thing. Pastor Mark will give us understanding into this prayer that was prayed by an obscure character from the Old Testament. He reminded us that this is just ONE of the many prayers in the Bible. He warns us that we should not adopt this prayer as a formula to get rich but rather as a prayer to challenge us to live in the power and protection of God.
