Lessons for Living (Audio)

On the rare occasion that a portion of Scripture is cited in mainstream media, it's usually to prop up an idea or philosophy touted by man. In these instances, it's always to bolster the person, and not the Word. When you take a snippet of Scripture out of context and apply it to your own ideas, you change the Word...and that's a dangerous practice. When the Word is diluted or changed, it's no longer life to us, but death. The more time you spend in Scripture, the more you will understand who God is and what He's speaking to you. You won't have to wonder if what you're hearing out in the world is accurate, because you can measure it against the truth.
