Lessons for Living (Audio)

When you go to see a movie, you're there to be entertained...to enjoy a funny, interesting, or dramatic story...then you go home. When you go to church...is it for the same reason? Some pastors tell wonderful stories, weave captivating illustrations, communicate life lessons....but there is little mention of the Word. Withholding the preaching of the Word in a fellowship is to spiritually starve the congregation. The thing about the Word, is that the more you hear, the more you are led to continue seeking Him. When you are being fed, you go out and share with others...leading them to a place where they will be nurtured as well. At the heart of everything...is the Word.
