Lessons for Living (Audio)

When you accept Jesus, you don't get to pick and choose the parts of a righteous life that you'll accept or reject. You can't keep the sinful parts of your life and still be a follower of Christ. You're either in or you're out. Some people come to the Lord for forgiveness, but then purposefully go back to that same sinful situation. Then, they repent, then go back to sinning. It's a dangerous, vicious cycle. That belief—that you can accept Him as Savior but not as Lord—is a tool of deception that the enemy uses to make people feel like they are saved. If you've made a profession of faith, the true test of whether you are really saved will be the fruit you produce over time.
