Lessons for Living (Audio)

When you've heard a story so many times...it almost begins to lose its meaning. But, there are some events that stay vivid and true no matter how many times you hear them. When Jesus gave His life on the cross, it was emotional, spiritual and physical turmoil. When we consider everything He was facing, and His reactions to all of it...it would be unbelievable if He weren't the perfect Messiah. Jesus endured taunting and beatings as He suffered...all of which He could have stopped at any moment. But He never lashed out. Could we do the same? No. It puts His gift into perspective, when you see that without it, we'd have no hope.
