In today's message, Pastor Mark will contrast the temporal desires of the world with the eternal gains of heaven. One example of the world's desires is pursuit of wealth. Open your checkbook register or this month's Quicken report for a quick inventory: Where have I invested for God and where have I invested for myself? If you haven't “put your money where your mouth is,” begin to make changes and commitments in giving of your finances as well as time and skills to your church and ministries of Christ. Pastor Mark will remind us that there is nothing permanent about life on earth. So, everything we do should focus on God, people and the use of our time.
