The primary way God directs us is through The Bible. The better we know His word the easier it is for us to determine His will for our lives. Jesus said the Father will send a helper to teach and remind us of the things of God. He was speaking to believers. In order to understand what Gods Word says, you must first be a Christian. You need to be in fellowship with God and desire to know the Truth, His Ways and His purposes. Psalms thirty seven, twenty four says. If the Lord delights in your way, He'll make your steps firm. If you stumble you won't fall, for the Lord will uphold you with His hand.
