Heroes Rise, first entry: Xanathar’s Guide to (Almost) Everything

Welcome, brave adventurers…

… to the first entry into the Heroes Rise chronicle. This episode was recorded on Saturday, 25th November 2017, and made available for download on Wednesday, 29th November 2017 at heroesrisepodcast.com

This week, Lennon, Ostron and Ryu gather together to bring you a show that the crime-lord of Waterdeep used his only Wish spell to get!

First of all, we bring you a tool for your Adventurer’s Packs for when you need to generate a character quicker than you can say “hey, what level should I make that Paladin?”. Then we take a look at some D&D news as we bring you the highs and lows of Xanathar’s Guide to Everything.

Next, we take a Short Rest as Lennon discovers the true meaning of Thanksgiving and Baxter is sent for racial sensitivity training; before finally finishing off the show by asking our resident Illithid about fudging the dice.

This Week’s Community Questions

Well, it’s all we’ve talked about today so it should come as no surprise that we want to hear your views on XGE.
What were your high and low points? Are there any classes or mechanics that you’re just dying to try out?
What’s your preference -- small expansions to everything, or would you prefer more of a single-focus book? No matter what your views, we’d love to hear from you.
