ExtraTime Radio: Charlie Davies (NE Revolution)

First things first, the guys revisit Landon Donovan's testimonial match on Friday, a 1-1 draw against Ecuador in which the post robbed the USMNT legend of a Derek Jeter-esque moment. But did he cry? Simon says no, while Andrew and David contend he's got more humble pie in his future. LD aside, who looked good? Did the ETR curse strike Joe Gyau? What will the team look like against Honduras with all the big boys called up?

Meanwhile, in MLS, the playoff races have come down to two spots. In the East, Toronto has all but waved the white flag. In the West, it comes down to Cascadia Cup winner Vancouver and Portland. One has a much easier schedule than the other. The Supporters' Shield still comes down to LA and Seattle with a home-and-home series left to finish the regular season.

The Revs sealed their place, and Charlie Davies has been crucial to their current form. On the five-year anniversary of the car accident that threatened his life and career, Davies joins the guys to reflect and look ahead. Ever positive, he says the USMNT isn't out of the question.

In the mailbag, we wonder who the listeners might want as guests, where MLS Cup would be hosted in a perfect world and mull a time capsule to test our ability to predict the future.
