Out West, it remains tight, with two draws in the opening conference semifinals. Seattle looks to be in position to advance at home, while neither LA or Real Salt Lake are in the drivers seat. But why was the game in Dallas ugly? Why couldn't RSL beat Jaime Penedo? Why is Simon eating an apple?
The Eastern Conference is a little clearer, with New England snatching four away goals and New York smacking D.C. United at home to send the series back to RFK Stadium.
