Gimmes, grasses, Gallacher and Gmac

Who is to blame – Sergio Garcia for needlessly missing from inches, or Matt Kuchar for telling the referee that he didn’t concede such a tiny putt? Ryder Cup player Jamie Donaldson joins the pod this week and has his say on the big concession debate that made the headlines at the WGC Matchplay in Austin. Kuchar was all smiles afterwards and even posted a cringeworthy social media post alongside Garcia - but did he trample on the spirit of the game by running to the officials? Despite carding a quadruple bogey in his final round, Stephen Gallacher finished the strongest of a faltering pack in India to claim his first win in five years on the European Tour. But perhaps the bigger victory of the weekend belonged to Graeme McDowell, who won on the PGA Tour for the first time since 2015 after a terrible struggle for form and fitness. And it's a historic week coming up in the women’s game: the first major of the season takes place in Palm Springs, LET players line up alongside men and seniors in Jordan and Augusta National holds a women’s tournament for the first time. So with all that in mind, who better to speak to than Dame Laura Davies?
