Locked Doors
We all lock our doors in all sorts of ways to keep all sorts of things out. Jesus appears to the disciples in a room where the door is locked. Jesus shows these unbelieving disciples his hands. He shows them his side. He shows them that Mary’s story, the one they thought was an idle tale, was true. But Thomas was missing. Jesus returns a week later so that Thomas may also believe. Jesus keeps coming back week after week…
