Final week campaigning for Irish General Election 2016

With only days remaining before Ireland heads to the voting booth in the General Election on Friday February 26th, we have a look at the highlights (or perhaps more aptly put - the lowlights)of the last full week of campaigning.

We talk about the latest opinion polls, protests, a Taoiseach putting both of his feet in it, campaign posters for the Minister with responsibility for Forestry being nailed to trees and two independent candidates releasing what can only be described as "odd" election campaign songs.

What's the Craic is a weekly Irish radio show that broadcasts on Brighton's Radio Reverb on 97.2FM, DAB and online at radioreverb.com. You can hear it live Mondays at 8pm or catch the repeat on Tuesdays at 3pm or Saturdays at 1am GMT.
