Unless you’re in what people normally think of as leadership positions, you probably don’t think that others are watching you and taking their behavioral cues from you. The fact of the matter is, though, that if there’s someone with less seniority than you have, you’re being observed. Pastor Mark will be teaching about David’s influence on his men. You might not have six hundred men watching the decisions you make, but the principle is the same. As a Christ follower, it’s important for you to be seeking God all the time, just as David did. That way, you’ll be showing others what godly decision-making looks like.
