Music Friday: Joe Gill. Sonnet, both great new talent
It is no wonder our first guest today is turning heads in the indie music world. Joe Gil tells great stories with penetrating questions embedded in them, crafts opulent arrangements that draw you in, and tantalizes you with a voice that is at once soothing and otherworldly. Joe Gil is an emerging talent whose first two EP’s Joe Gil and Blankets presage a coming chart-topper. In segment 2, Sonnet joins us with her new EP, Sonnet. She seduces you with her one-of-kind-voice, lyrics that are as honest and authentic as you will hear anywhere and sumptuous arrangements that envelope you in what can only be described as “Sonnetworld"…a very nice place to be.
