Pastor Ursula Jacobs Williams is a native of Clarkton, North Carolina. She graduated from Clarkton High School in 1985 and moved to Durham, NC to further her education at North Carolina Central University. She graduated from North Carolina Central in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science and has been employed with a medical diagnostics company for 27 years. She accepted Jesus as her personal savior in February 1993 and was baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit, with the evidence of tongues. Ursula is currently a member of Destiny International Ministries in Raleigh, North Carolina under the leadership of Apostle Shirley R. Brown. It was Apostle Brown who recognized her calling and ordained her for ministry as an Elder in 2010. During her tenure at previous ministries, Pastor Ursula has served in various capacities including President of the Missionary Department; Secretary/Treasurer of the Usher Board; Church Secretary; Trustee; Advisor to Young Adult Singles; Church Administrator; Intercessory Prayer Team; Lay Counsel. From an Exalter and Praise Team member to Ministerial Board member, her joy has been found in serving leadership and God’s people. She currently serves in the position of Executive Pastor at Destiny International Ministries as well as prayer teacher, intercessor, prayer warrior, adult education teacher, and an aide to many in ministry. Pastor Ursula loves God’s Word, God’s people, and has purposed in her heart to live a life that is pleasing unto Christ. Although she has no biological children, she has become known to some as mom, auntie, confidant, and a mentor for many young women. She uses her life, the good, the bad, mishaps and mistakes, to encourage others and let them know that “with God all things are possible”.
