Steve's wife Shannon McCarthy is the co-producer (we just might hear from her too!), Niklas Schrimpf and Roger Ingraham are the directors. Inspired by one of Steve's visiting teachers, Michael Brown from South Africa, in 2010 Steve and a group of friends traveled to South Africa to make a film that documented traditional healers. Unexpected twists and turns led to the creation of a film that is a true story about two women being called to a greater purpose in life - how a deep sadness, longing or even a sickness can be our profound guide.
