Brian is a challenge-driven autodidact, software architect, and technologist with more than a decade of entrepreneurial experience, wide business perspective and expert-level development and architecture skills. As VP of Engineering, he oversees Civis's engineering department and manages the company's core data science technology, Civis Platform. In addition to leading a large engineering team, he closely coordinates with product, design and a C-level leadership group to build products that scale with the organization while consistently wowing users. Previously, he was the CTO and Co-Founder of Patch of Land, where he built proprietary data aggregation, ETL, and decisioning systems for risk and credit modeling in the real estate space.
