Music On The Couch

Live, Uncut & Uncensored Conversations With "Musicians You Should Know" Each Monday I spend time with musicians from the Blues-Roots-Americana Genres and let them tell their story in their words. Many guests return over and over with new music and I have been honored with over 36 World Premiers over the years.

Roast Beef Curtains & Elizabeth Tryon Sit On The Couch

OPENS THE SHOW - Because life is made up of more than one genre, we present Ms. Elizabeth Tryon, an engaging singer who has a classic feel for her music. With comparisons to people like Josh Groban, Sarah Brightman, Katherine Jenkins, Madonna and Andrea Bocelli, Ms. Tryon impresses with a deep rich vocal styling. She has a foot planted in the pop world and the other in the classical world. An interesting pairing and we will discuss how this all came about with Ms. Tryon.   SEGMENT BEGINS AT THE 40:40 MARK - Then we are going to do a 180 and talk to the members of Roast Beef Curtain, a band from my home turf of Long Island. Three college friends who decided Reggae was the way to fulfill their dreams and it seems to have worked. RBC was just added to the lineup for Bonneroo June 10-13. They are also close to dropping their first full length album. So there is plenty to learn and discuss.
