Interview with Carissa Amberly
After winning first place in the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame talent showcase in August 2006, Carissa was immediately given the opportunity to sing in a music show that would later welcome the Gatlin Brothers, Billy Joe Shaver, Jack Greene, and Casey Rivers to the same stage. As a part of her prize package, Carissa was awarded a trip to Branson, MO to guest perform on the shows hosted by Mickey Gilley, Hamner Barber, Jim Owen, Jim Stafford, and Doug Gabriel. This 17 year old from Texas sings Country with a pure and honest voice. We'll talk about how her career started, her musical influences and her plans for the future. She'll also sing us a couple of her best songs.
