Interview with Donny Anderson


Born in Lindsay, a small town in Ontario, Canada, Donny Anderson discovered his incredible talent while singing a duet with his friend in seventh grade. From that moment on, Donny embarked on a journey that would take him all over Canada and eventually the United States. Before even graduating from high school, Donny was opening for such notable acts as Terri Clark, Doc Walker, Lila McCann, Little Big Town and many others. he has played venues like Phoenix Concert Hall, the Civic Centre in Ottawa and CNE in Toronto. With his first demo in hand, he earned spots on the Canadian Showcase in Nashville, Tennessee during the CMA Music Festival (formerly known as Fan Fair), as well as the Havelock Jamboree in Canada. He began performing anywhere from three to five shows a week, his life consisting of traveling, writing, singing and performing.
